Also referred to as clove oil, Eugenol is used widely as a flavoring for foods and teas and as an herbal oil. Eugenol is an aromatic oil extracted from cloves that is used topically to treat toothaches and more rarely can be taken orally to soothe and treat gastrointestinal and respiratory issues.
